Educator Edition · Starting the drive

Start the Educator Edition

Connect the drive, run START-EDUCATOR.bat, wait for “Ready,” and the dashboard opens in your browser.

Steps

  1. Connect the Evolve AI drive to a USB port on your Windows computer.
  2. Open the drive in File Explorer, then open the OfflineAI folder.
  3. Double-click START-EDUCATOR.bat. Windows may ask you to confirm because the launcher is unsigned. Here is what that prompt means.
  4. A server window opens and shows loading progress. The launcher waits up to five minutes for the AI model to load.
  5. When it shows Ready, your browser opens the dashboard at http://127.0.0.1:8080. The status in the sidebar reads Local AI ready.

Keep the server window open

The black server window is the AI itself. Leave it open while you work. Closing it stops the AI. When you finish, follow Stop the AI and eject the drive safely.
