Fix “127.0.0.1 refused to connect”

Your browser opened the dashboard address while the AI server was not running. Start it, wait for Ready, and reload.

This message means the browser reached your own computer, but the AI server was not running yet, or it was stopped.

Steps

  1. On your external drive, open OfflineAI and double-click START-EDUCATOR.bat.
  2. Wait until the server window shows Ready. Loading can take a few minutes on some computers.
  3. Open http://127.0.0.1:8080 in your browser.

Still not working?

  • Make sure the black server window is still open. Closing it stops the AI.
  • Open http://127.0.0.1:8080/health in your browser. If the page loads, the server is running; refresh the dashboard with Ctrl+F5.
  • If the server window shows an error, copy it exactly into a support ticket.
