The launcher says no AI model or Python runtime is installed

Run INSTALL-MODELS.bat in the OfflineAI folder. It adds or repairs the AI files and checks each one before use.

Drives ship with their AI files installed. These messages appear when a file is missing or damaged, or when a folder was copied without them.

What you may see

  • “No AI model is installed in this OfflineAI folder yet.”
  • “The bundled Python runtime is missing.” (Video Studio, Small Business, Finance & Accounting, Real Estate)
  • A red banner in Video Studio saying the video engine is not installed.
  • “Image creation files are not installed on this drive.” The edition still starts; only picture creation is off.

Steps

  1. Close the launcher windows.
  2. Double-click INSTALL-MODELS.bat in the OfflineAI folder, or choose Add or repair AI models in Drive & Help.
  3. Choose the option to copy from another prepared Evolve AI drive (no internet needed), or the option to download. Each file is checked with SHA-256 before it is used.
  4. Start your edition again.
