Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to learn about our products and contact us, whatever device, browser, or assistive technology they use.
Our target
This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AAA wherever the guidelines apply. An independent audit has not been completed yet, so we describe this as our design target.
What we built in
- Text and background colors with a contrast ratio of at least 7 to 1.
- Buttons, links in menus, and form controls at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- A thick, high-contrast outline on whatever has keyboard focus, never hidden behind other content.
- A “Skip to main content” link, landmarks, breadcrumbs, and headings in a logical order.
- Every page works with a keyboard alone and without JavaScript.
- Forms with visible labels, instructions, specific error messages, and an error summary. Your entries are kept if anything goes wrong, and the forms have no time limits.
- A spam check that needs no action from you: no image puzzles, no audio, and no time limit. It announces its progress to screen readers. Without JavaScript, it asks one simple arithmetic question instead.
- Comfortable reading: line spacing of 1.6, limited line length, and text that reflows at 400% zoom without sideways scrolling.
- A full text description for every product screenshot, including the words shown in it.
- Motion only when your device allows it. Animation is switched off if you have asked your system to reduce motion.
- Abbreviations explained in the glossary.
Known limitations
- Product screenshots are images of the dashboard. Each one has a text description you can expand below it.
- This statement covers this website. The Educator Edition dashboard on the drive is a separate application that we are still testing, and its accessibility has not been independently evaluated.
- Pages that link to payment providers would take you to Stripe or PayPal pages, which follow those companies’ own accessibility practices.
