The launcher says port 8080 is already in use

Another copy of the AI server is already running. Use the window that is open, or stop it before starting again.

The Educator Edition and the original START-AI.bat launcher both use port 8080, so only one server can run at a time. The launcher reports the occupied port and leaves the running server alone.

Steps

Look for an existing black server window. If you find one, keep using it: open http://127.0.0.1:8080 in your browser.
To restart, click the existing server window, hold Ctrl and press C to stop it, then run START-EDUCATOR.bat again.
Run only one launcher at a time.
