Stop the AI and eject the drive safely

Save your work, close the dashboard, press Ctrl+C in the server window, then eject the drive in Windows.

Steps

  1. Save anything you want to keep: select Save workspace, or export drafts to Word or PDF.
  2. Close the dashboard tab in your browser.
  3. Click the black server window, hold Ctrl and press C.
  4. In the Windows taskbar, select Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media, choose the drive, and wait for the message that it is safe to remove.

Stopping the server also clears request data it may hold in memory.
