Download the update
Optional: verify the download
To confirm the file downloaded completely and unchanged, open PowerShell in your Downloads folder and run:
Get-FileHash EvolveAI_Educator_0.9.3.zip
The result should match this SHA-256 value:

Install
Six steps to update
-
Close the platform
Close the educator dashboard. In the black AI server window, hold Ctrl and press C to stop it.
-
Download and open the update
Download the Educator Edition update from this page.
Open your Downloads folder. Right-click the downloaded ZIP file and choose Extract All, then Extract.
Keep the extracted update in Downloads. Do not extract it into the existing OfflineAI folder on your drive.
-
Install the update
Open the extracted folder and double-click UPDATE-OFFLINEAI.bat. Windows may ask you to confirm because the file is unsigned; here is what that prompt means.
Follow the prompts:
- Choose the OfflineAI folder on your external drive.
- Select the original downloaded ZIP file.
- Type INSTALL in capital letters and press Enter.
Keep your drive connected until the window says Update complete.
-
Add the new AI models
Updating from 0.8 or earlier? In the OfflineAI folder on your drive, double-click INSTALL-MODELS.bat. It adds the 0.9 models and, if you choose, the image engine (up to 21 GB), checks free space, and verifies every file. Anything already installed is skipped.
It can download the files or copy them from another prepared drive. Already on 0.9.0? Skip this step.
-
Reopen the platform
On your external drive, open OfflineAI and double-click START-EDUCATOR.bat.
Wait for the dashboard to open. Hold Ctrl and press F5 to refresh it.
-
Check your version
Look for the version number near the top of the dashboard. It should match the version listed with your download: 0.9.3.
You’re ready to continue teaching.
Update questions
Will my saved work remain?
The updater preserves existing saved course workspace files, AI models, and settings, and adds any settings new to the version. It also backs up the previous dashboard files.
Save your work before updating. Unsaved sessions and temporary grading batches will not survive closing the dashboard.
Does updating require internet?
You need internet to download the update, and to download the new models unless you copy them from another prepared drive. Once everything is on the drive, installation runs locally.
Need help?
If an update stops or displays an error, note the message and contact support before trying again. Common fixes are in the knowledge base.
If the dashboard says “127.0.0.1 refused to connect,” start START-EDUCATOR.bat, wait for the server to become ready, then open http://127.0.0.1:8080.
