Organizations often restrict programs that run from USB drives. You may see a message that an administrator blocked the app, or the launcher may close without starting.
What to do
- Contact your technology department and explain that the Educator Edition runs a local AI server from the drive.
- Share our privacy verification checks so they can confirm it keeps requests on the computer.
- Keep within your organization’s rules, and avoid workarounds that bypass its controls.
The launcher limits its PowerShell setting to its own process. It leaves your Windows policy unchanged, and managed computers may still block it.
