What you need
- Windows 11 with a free USB port. A blue USB 3 port loads the AI faster.
- 16 GB of memory (RAM) or more. To check, open Settings, then System, then About.
- Permission to run programs from a USB drive. School and work computers often block this; see managed computers.
Graphics card
- An NVIDIA graphics card with 6 GB or more of memory gives the fastest answers.
- Without one, every edition still runs on the processor with START-CPU.bat, more slowly.
- Creating pictures with AI (Image Studio and Video Studio’s AI pictures) needs an NVIDIA card and at least 12 GB of memory.
- Evolve Everyday needs no graphics card.
Not supported today
Mac, Chromebook, and other systems. Older Windows versions may work but are not tested.
