Consulting Edition · Client documents and drafts

Why drafts contain [FEE], [DATE], and other placeholders

The AI never invents fees, rates, dates, credentials, case studies, or client names. It leaves a bracketed placeholder for you to complete.

Consulting drafts leave out anything the AI would otherwise have to make up. Where a proposal or report needs a fee, a rate, a date, your credentials, a case study, or a client name you did not supply, the draft shows a bracketed placeholder such as [FEE], [DATE], [CASE STUDY], or [CONSULTANT CREDENTIALS].

What to do

  • Search the draft for [ and replace every placeholder before you send it.
  • To fill them automatically next time, add the details to the engagement under Open an engagement. Requests made under an engagement carry its client, objectives, timeline, and house style.
  • Every export carries the note “AI-assisted draft. Review facts, placeholders, fees, and client-specific claims before sending.”

The AI makes no legal, tax, accounting, investment, employment-law, engineering, or safety determinations. It flags those questions for a qualified professional.
