Everyday says the local AI is unavailable

The launcher window was closed, so the AI stopped. Start Evolve Everyday again with START-EVERYDAY.bat.

The AI runs inside the launcher window. When that window closes, the chat page stays open but has nothing to talk to.

Steps

  1. Save any chat you want to keep with Save chats.
  2. Open the stick in File Explorer, open OfflineAI, and double-click START-EVERYDAY.bat (or use the shortcut in the Evolve AI folder on the desktop).
  3. Wait for Ready, and keep the launcher window open while you chat.

If the launcher says the AI model is missing or damaged, run INSTALL-MODELS.bat in the OfflineAI folder. It checks the model file and replaces it if needed.
