Video Studio Edition · Making and rendering videos

Render a video and find the finished file

Press Render the video in the editor. A 30-second video takes about half a minute to a minute. Download the MP4, captions, and transcript when it finishes.

Steps

  1. In the editor, check every scene: press Listen to hear the narration and watch the preview.
  2. Press Render the video. Videos render on the processor, one at a time. A 30-second video takes about half a minute to a minute on a recent laptop.
  3. When it finishes, play it in the page, then download the MP4, the captions (.srt for YouTube and Facebook, .vtt for websites), and the transcript.

Where finished videos are kept

Every finished video stays on the drive in OfflineAI\data\video-studio\videos. You can always render it again from the project.

If a render stops

  • The drive is full: delete old videos under Finished videos, or free space on the drive. A minute of 1080p video takes about 5 to 16 MB.
  • The render was interrupted (the window closed or the drive was removed): it is marked failed. Start Video Studio again and render once more.
  • Wait for a render to finish before you close Video Studio or remove the drive.
