Get the update file
Sign in to your account and download the update for your edition. Files are named for the edition and version, such as EvolveAI_Educator_0.11.2.zip. Save it in your Downloads folder.
Before you install
- Educator and Consulting: select Save workspace and export anything you want to keep. Educator grading batches are temporary and are not included in course backups.
- Video Studio: wait for any render to finish.
The easy way: Drive & Help
- Open Drive & Help and find Updates. It lists the newer ZIP it found.
- Choose Install. The app closes and the updater opens in its own window.
- Type INSTALL and press Enter when asked. The edition starts again when the update is done.
By hand
- Close the app’s browser tab. In the AI server window, hold Ctrl and press C, then close the launcher windows.
- Double-click UPDATE-OFFLINEAI.bat in the OfflineAI folder. It offers the newest update it finds in Downloads, on the desktop, or on the drive. Press Enter instead to choose the file yourself.
- Type INSTALL and press Enter.
- Wait for Update complete, then start your edition and press Ctrl+F5 in the browser.
The updater checks every file before installing and keeps the files it replaces in update-backups. Your saved work, AI models, and settings stay as they are.
Educator drives on version 0.9
The updater on a 0.9 drive cannot install 0.10 or later. Extract the downloaded ZIP in Downloads and run UPDATE-OFFLINEAI.bat from inside the extracted folder. The Educator update page walks through it.
